Customized and Personalized Products
All phone cases sold under the name Design Case are custom-made and personalized based on the design choices you submit during checkout.
Design Case is operated by Design Collective by Wang.
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, personalized products made according to a customer’s specifications are not subject to the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.
This means that once an order for a customized phone case has been placed and production has begun, returns, cancellations, and refunds are not possible, unless the product:
Is defective
Contains a manufacturing error
Does not match the product ordered
Defective Products or Production Errors
We take product quality seriously. You are entitled to a replacement or refund if your product arrives with any of the following issues:
Manufacturing defects, such as cracks or material flaws
Printing errors or poor print quality
Incorrect product, such as the wrong phone model or incorrect design
Damage caused during shipping
How to Request a Refund or Replacement
To report a problem with your order:
Contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order
Provide clear photos showing the issue
Include your order number and a brief description of the problem
Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide either:
A replacement product, or
A full refund
This will be provided at no additional cost to you.
Legal Guarantee – Conformity of Goods
Under the EU Directive on Conformity of Goods, all products sold must conform to the contract.
This means the product must:
Match the design or specifications you ordered
Be free from manufacturing defects
Be of satisfactory quality
Customers have a 2-year legal guarantee from the date of delivery to report defects or non-conforming products.
If a product does not meet these requirements, you may be entitled to:
Repair
Replacement
Refund
This legal guarantee applies only to defects or non-conformity, not to changes of mind or dissatisfaction with a chosen design.
Return Shipping Costs
If a return is approved due to a defect, production error, or incorrect product, Design Collective by Wang will cover the return shipping costs.
We may provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of approval and returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.
